The Fire Division provides fire suppression, emergency medical service, fire prevention, inspection, education, and fire safety information to the citizens of the City of Huber Heights.

The Huber Heights Fire Division consists of 54 full-time personnel providing professional service to the public. The Fire Department provides fire suppression, emergency medical service, fire prevention, inspection, education, and fire safety information to the citizens of the City of Huber Heights.

The Divsion is also affliated with the following Orginizations:

  • Miami Valley Fire and EMS Alliance
  • National US&R Response - Ohio Task Force 1
  • State of Ohio Region 3 Strike Team
  • The division operates out of two stations located on the main traffic routes of State Route 201 (Brandt Pike) and State Route 202 (Old Troy Pike) and responds to over 6,000 calls for service a year.

Huber Heights Fire Department Code Red was activated for the area of Huber that was in the warning box (issued by the NWS) which was located in the northeastern part of the City. St Rt. 201 to State Route 40 in the Carriage Trails area was notified at 9:23 and 9:40pm in which 540 individual alerts were sent to that area. Remember, you have to sign up for the weather alerting to receive the warnings if you want to be notified of a warning in your area of the City. Huber Heights Fire Department Crews have surveyed the city and no reports of damage have been noted. It does appears most of the reported damage is to the north and east of the city in the Bethel Clark area.
